2019 Raytheon MATHCOUNTS National Competition
The 2019 Raytheon MATHCOUNTS National Competition will be held at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Hotel in Orlando, Florida, May 11-14, 2019.
The Written Competition will be administered on Sunday, May 12, and the Countdown Round, Math Video Challenge Finals and Awards Banquet will be held on Monday, May 13.
Congratulations to California’s 2018 MATHCOUNTS Team for taking second place at the national competition May 12 through 15 in Washington, D.C.!
California’s 2018 MATHCOUNTS Team
This year’s California team consisted of:
- Andrew Gu, 8th grader from Ladera Ranch Middle School (Orange County, from the Southern California Competition)
- Jack Albright, 8th grader from The Nueva School (Hillsborough, Peninsula Chapter, from the Northern California Competition)
- Rishab Parthasarathy, 8th grader from the Harker School (San Jose, Santa Clara Valley Chapter, NorCal)
- William Chen, 7th grader from William Hopkins Junior High (Fremont, Santa Clara Valley, NorCal)
They were coached by Vandana Kadam from the Harker School.
